SALON OWNER - CRAYFORD & DARTFORD
I've been in the hairdressing industry since 1999 and owned my own salon since 2004. I have had the privilege of watching my salon change and grow into what it is today. In those years, I have trained young stylists to blossom into exceptional hairdressers. I feel that salon life is what I love the most, especially from the pleasure of watching a transformation we create with our very own hands. I thoroughly enjoy watching the change we can make to someone's mood by creating a great haircut or giving advice on a new colour.
April 2018 I had the opportunity to grow my business and open another salon in Dartford. This salon is situated within a David Lloyd club and is slightly different to our Crayford salon. Salon167 Hair & Beauty opened its doors under a partnership with Hayley Carnell, Hayley and I had worked together for many years but this was a perfect opportunity for a joint adventure. Our salon provides Beauty, Aesthetics with a nurse prescriber and womens Well Being Clinic as well as Hairdressing.

I started my career in the hairdressing world back in 2004 as a salon manager. The experience and knowledge I gained gave me the confidence for the next career step and became Business Development Manager for the Lookfantastic brand overseeing 16 salons including our sister salon 167 Crayford.
Having worked alongside Hannah salon owner at 167 Crayford for over several years the time had come for the next new challenge. In 2018 we opened Salon167 David Lloyd where I have been able to grow my passion not just for hairdressing but also starting Clinic 167 where we offer beauty, aesthetics and wellbeing treatments. I keep my fingers on the pulse for the latest developments in the beauty world. I am often found trialling the latest products and equipment out there to bring just the best to our clients.
I love my job building an amazing team, meeting new clients and catching up with our loyal clients that have become good friends. Seeing clients leave happy and full of confidence is everything to me.

Michelle
SENIOR CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Michelle Is our most experienced employee, she previously owned her own salon and has been in the hairdressing Industry for over 20 years. Michelle is a huge personality in the salon. She isn’t afraid of trying something new, and is always up for a challenge when it comes to hairdressing. She’s a quirky woman, who enjoys doing quirky hair! Michelle has hairdressing in her veins she will recommend what prescription you need to take care of your hair in and out of the salon. Michelle carries out all aspects of hairdressing, including perms.
Louise
SENIOR CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Louise is one of our longest standing employees at salon167. She has been in the hairdressing industry since 2001 and joined our Crayford team in 2008. Louise is never afraid to get stuck in and help everyone out with her kind bubbly personality. She’s good-natured, fun and passionate about her work as well as her love for dogs and all creatures great & small. She specializes in men and women’s cutting, colouring, and is one of our ambassadors in Novo cabelo hair replacement system. This system is a non-surgical hair replacement system that allows Louise to restore your confidence in your look within 2 hours, she thrives on making a difference to someone’s self esteem.

CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Abbie has grown in our salon since 2009 where she started as an assistant and has flourished into the stylist she is today. She always lights up the room when she walks in and a familiar face to our
long-standing clients. She specialises in women's cutting and colouring. The team would describe her as fun, outgoing, happy, a mummy and a good listener. Abbie is our longest standing part timer after having her two children and has many regulars and we know they relax in her chair knowing she will look after their hair needs every 6 weeks.
Jay
CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Jay joined us in 2021 but has been in the industry since 2005. She is our bubbly, enthusiastic, caring, friendly, blondie that has a passion for barbering, she owned her Barbers for over 12 years. After becoming a mum to her beautiful children Jay decided to step back into a salon that covered all aspects of hairdressing. Jay loves seeing a client leave with a smile on their face and is prone to turn a young girl in to a princess with glitter and curls or a boy with a fresh fade. An appointment with Jay will always make you feel amazing.
Lucy G
CREATIVE COLOUR DIRECTOR
Lucy G is our senior colour technician and one of our Salon Colour ambassadors, colour is the aspect of hairdressing that gets her very excited as it’s her real passion. She has been with Salon167 since January 2015 and also specialises in cutting, styling, advanced conditioning treatments and extensions. Lucy always loves a challenge and loves doing something new but is always about keeping the integrity of the hair. Her aim is always in making the client feel her best! You’ll usually see her bubbly self charging round the salon with her signature red or pink hair, and is always changing it up.
Natalie
CREATIVE COLOUR DIRECTOR
Natalie has been a part of salon167 since 2011, qualifying in 2013 and been growing every scince running a busy column. She has completed her Redken colour certification, an advanced level exam that has allowed her to gain knowledge, skills and principles of REDKEN colour, which means she is the go to girl for any Redken knowledge and all the latest colour techniques. She also specialises in extensions, she is our salon ambassador for Beautyworks extensions allowing her to work alongside with brands such as Zen Hair and Remi cachet. Natalie has a real touch on hair up and creating beautiful bridal creations and is also our Salons educator for our young growing apprentices.
Teoni
ADVANCED STYLIST
Teoni is our advanced stylist after completing her NVQ3 back in 2021, she has excelled in her hairdressing career over the past 5 years that she has been working here, starting as an assistant. We are very proud of her as she is eager to learn and ready for a challenge. Anything from bright colours to a lovely Balayage, Teoni loves it all. No matter what she is always joking around, laughing and making everyone else around her happy.
Megan
ADVANCED GRADUATE STYLIST
Megan is our advanced graduate stylist. She started as an assistant in 2019 and now has completed her advance NVQ3 hairdressing qualification. She is hard working and has a fire in her belly to learn. She loves creating bespoke hair-up styles for any occasion, if she gets a spare 15 minutes free your often find her creating a new hair up masterpiece on a sally head. Megan is our queen of bright colours and often experiments on herself as well as designing unique creations for her clients.
Charlotte
SALON COORDINATOR
Charlotte is our front of house and has been with our Crayford team since April 2022, as our Salon Coordinator she keeps her team in check. She attends to all our client’s appointment needs, she will have you organised with your appointments and have them planned in your diary for the next 6 months. Charlotte has a hairdressing background, she was a senior stylist for many years but now enjoys the Salon environment from a different perspective.
Phoebe
ASSISTANT
Phoebe is one of our lovely assistants carrying out her NVQ2 with Salon167. She is kind, caring and very passionate about every aspect in hairdressing. Phoebe has a back ground of hairdressing in her family so we could say it’s in her veins. She just won’t stop learning and she’s very particular in getting everything perfect. Her head massage will take the stress out of your day that’s for sure.

Hollie is one of our lovely assistants who is carrying out her second year of her NVQ2 with Salon167. Every week she loves to have a model in her training session to learn a new technique and loves to perfect her skills. She’s keen and thrives on watching the team for ideas. Her head massages will send you to sleep.

Maisie is one of our lovely assistants, she has begun her NVQ2 journey this year with Salon167 and is already showing signs of an amazing hairdresser. She is enthusiastic, confident, bubbly and also such a gentle sole. You will love her head massage it’s soo relaxing.

Katy
SALON MANAGER
Katy has been in the hairdressing industry since 2001. She became the first Easilocks hair extensions specialist in Kent in 2012. She recently completed her REDKEN Certified Hair Colorist the highest level within REDKEN. Katy specialises in male and female cutting and creating hair up styles for that special occasion. Katy added another service to her list and is also a specialist in our male hair integration system by Novocabelo. The team at Dartford would describe her as bubbly, friendly, professional and reliable.

NURSE PRACTITIONER
I have been a Registered General Nurse (RGN) since the mid-eighties, spending most of my nursing career in surgical and accident and emergency nursing. I am also a trained midwife, practicing midwifery in England and the Middle East for over 15 years. I have worked in the aesthetic field for over 10 years and in 2013 I studied at Birmingham City University to become an independent Nurse Prescriber (INP). Clients can feel secure in the knowledge that safe ethical practise is of paramount importance to me. Clinic167 offers the very best in exclusive medical aesthetic procedures with each client’s treatment being tailored to their individual needs. I frequently update my training and strive to research new treatments that me be of benefit to our clients.

SENIOR DESIGNER
I started hair at the age of 16, helping out as a Junior in a friend’s salon and the passion grew from there. The more I was doing hair and speaking with clients I realised this was the career for me. I have now been in the hair industry for 8 years, I love all aspects of hairdressing and I am a confident stylist in Men’s, Women’s and Children’s hair as well as colouring. I would say I am a fun, bubbly person and am always willing to help anyone out and love seeing how happy I make my clients.
Nicola is also one of our specialists in the male hair integration system by Novocabelo.
Olivia
CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Olivia has over 14years experience in the industry. Olivia previously worked and trained in central London where she gained her knowledge and expanded her skill set. She joined Salon167 Crayford in 2016 before recently moving to Salon167 Dartford. She enjoys all aspects of hairdressing and believes the best results are achieved by a in-depth approachable and friendly consultation. Her specialties include creative cutting & colour, restyle and colour changes, Beautyworks Extentions, Men’s hair design and Occasional hair. She is also extremely passionate about healthy hair where she has a vast knowledge of in salon treatments, especially Olaplex. Olivia is available at Salon167 on selected days as she is also a busy mum to her small children.

CREATIVE DIRECTOR
I have been hairdressing since 2015. I love my job and always leave my clients feeling great about their hair. I love having a challenge, so colour changes and balayage’s are my favourite. I am a confident unisex hairdresser in colouring and cutting. I love keeping on trend with the latest looks inspired by REDKEN and other brands within our industry.

ADVANCED STYLIST
I have been in the hairdressing industry since 2017, although I started doing hair a lot later, I believe its my passion. I am loving working in the salon environment alongside the team and meeting new client every day. I am enjoying all aspects of hairdressing but especially cutting and styling. I love giving my clients the feel-good factor when they leave the salon.

STYLIST
Holly joined us in 2019 and was our first apprentice to become an NVQ level 2 and 3 qualified Stylist. Holly specialises in all colouring, cutting and is our Aura/Nanokeratin Smoothing expert. Holly loves to be given the task to create a vibrant fashion colour. Holly is always willing to learn and continues to develop her hairdressing skills to an exceptional level. We are super proud of our very first in salon grown stylist!
Holly is also one of our Zen Hair Extension specialists.
Ellie
GRADUATE STYLIST
Ellie joined us in 2021, already having 5 years salon experience following her weekend/Saturday job.
Ellie has recently completed her NVQ in hairdressing. Ellie loves all aspects of hairdressing as soon become our salon blow dry queen!
Ellie is also one of our Zen Hair Extension specialists.
Nyah
APPRENTICE HAIRDRESSER
Nyah joined us in 2022 and attends college weekly working towards her NVQ level 2, she is always willing to learn and enjoys all aspects of hairdressing especially colour. She always supports her team, and is now becoming very confident creating lovely blow dries. Keep an eye out on social media for special offers.

APPRENTICE HAIRDRESSER
Izzy joined us in 2021 as our evening and Saturday girl. She now attends college weekly working towards her NVQ level 1 & 2, she is always willing to learn and enjoys all aspects of hairdressing especially styling. Izzy has already shown her skills in blow drying and her love for styling hair.

APPRENTICE
Darcie joined us in 2021 as our evening and Saturday girl. She now attends college weekly working towards her NVQ level 1 & 2. Darcie is always willing to learn and enjoys all aspects of hairdressing especially pin curl blow dries.
Zara
BEAUTY THERAPIST & NAIL TECHNICIAN
Zara has been qualified in NVQ 2 and 3 since 2012. She specialise in all things nails, from gel, builder gel and gel extensions. In 2017, Zara won a bronze award in nail technician of the year at the Kent Health & Beauty Awards. Her favourite treatments are nails, lash lifts, spray tans, Hydrafacial and Caci facials. Zara is also fortunate to be one of our ZO (Obagi) Skincare Specialists.
Laura
SENIOR BEAUTY THERAPIST
Laura has over 18 years experience in the health and beauty industry. She has been fortunate enough to work with some well renowned brands and loves how the industry is constantly evolving. Laura enjoys performing a wide range of treatments, including massage, waxing, lash lifts, Hydrafacial and Caci. She is passionate about all aspects of beauty therapy and delivering an exceptional service. Laura also is one of our ZO (Obagi) Skincare Specialists. Laura works Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday’s as she is also a busy Mum to two boys.
